Monet In The 21st Century

For school I had to create something that has to do with a painter who lived in the 19th or 20th century. I chose for Monet. But did I wanted to "copy" Monet? NO!! People who copy Monet can't do better than him, in the best case they do "the same". Did I want to do "the same" as a painter who lived in the 19th century? NO!! I wanted to do something inspired by him, something more me than Monet and something more 21ste Century than Monet. I have a huge explanation for this painting. But to keep it short: I have put the painting of Monet in a new space and time, inspired by the recent developments in Libya and the other Arabic Countries.
